I deeply enjoy our wild lands and can spend hours and days exploring the secret corners just off the beaten path. Love to wander with my camera, with no real plan or agenda, in my Jeep or on foot in the wilderness. I am always amazed at the opportunities that present themselves, grand open vistas, moody fog, magical light, little details of the forest floor or the creatures that dwell there, nature moves me. It is my hope that somehow my photos convey this passion.
My goal as a photographer is to not only capture pixels but to also make those pixels sing. It is my hope that the melody of the subject rings true in the heart and you can hear and feel the mood and tempo of each image.

“In the right light, at the right time, everything is extraordinary.”
"It is not so much for its beauty that the forest makes a claim upon men's hearts, as for that subtle something, that quality of air that emanation from old trees, that so wonderfully changes and renews a weary spirit."
-Robert Louis Stevenson
"I've learned more about myself wandering around in nature alone, than I ever did from the good opinions of those who wanted to tell me...who I am."
